Editor Escape

Built for a renowned editor and publisher, this small timber frame provides an inviting workspace for print and woodworking projects alike. It’s location marks the spot of a historic cabin that our client moved and restored as a primary residence elsewhere on the property. In it’s place, an authentic hand-cut Eastern Hemlock timber frame. Downstairs boasts ten-foot ceilings with a woodworking and editing workshop. On the second floor, a full loft has been built out as a welcoming studio apartment complete with outdoor shower and timber frame stairs for access.
